Nancy was welcomed into the Father’s heavenly courts on April 21, 2014. Nancy was born in West Palm Beach in 1932 to Zeke and Frances Cornelius. “Corny” graduated from Palm Beach High in 1950. She returned to West Palm after college to teach elementary school. There she met her beloved Hank Jewett. They married in 1956 and had 3 children: Skip, Steve, and Tracy. After Hank died in 1969, Nancy raised the children on her own, taking them camping, boating, scuba diving, to Miami Dolphins games and on wonderful extended trips across the US, Canada, and Alaska. She continued to travel after the children were grown, visiting Asia and Europe. Nancy eventually moved to Franklin, NC where she lived for many years on Henson Road. She moved to central Florida in 2011. Nancy was a talented painter, needlepointer, and knitter. In addition to Skip (Beth) (Orlando), Steve (Evellyn) (Winter Park), and Tracy (Lawrenceville, GA), Nancy is survived by her granddaughters, Sara and Callie, and 4 nieces. A memorial service will be held in Winter Park, FL at a later date.
