Terry was the son of Florence Ledbetter Waldroop Taylor and the late Neil Gilmer Waldroop. He was a barber and a member of Maidens Chapel United Methodist Church.
Terry enjoyed hunting, fishing and making music. He once made music at The World’s Fair in Knoxville, Tenn.
In addition to his mother, Florence Ledbetter Waldroop Taylor of Franklin, he is survived by his son, Travis Waldroop and wife Melissa of Franklin; two brothers, Steve Waldroop and Wade Waldroop, both of Franklin; three grandchildren, Jordan, Erica and Ben Waldroop. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial service was held at 2 p.m., Monday, March 24, at Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Dryman and Rev. Charles Reed officiated. The family received friends from 1-2 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
