She was very active with the YMCA Board, President of the Mercy Medical Center Auxiliary, bowling league and Manager of the Hospital Gift Shop for many years in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Once they retired to Florida, she was active in the Presbyterian Church in Pompano Beach organizing the Annual Christmas Bazaar, which became the “talk of the town” for its success.
