MARIETTA, GEORGIA – Howard Tallent, 90, passed away April 25, 2021. Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021, at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, Georgia.
Howard, a native of Franklin, North Carolina, has lived in Marietta, Georgia since 1974. He retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. He loved gardening, traveling, yard sales, flea markets, his weekly coffee with friends, his dogs, family poker nights and especially spending time with his wife of 68 years, Ruby. He was a member of Iotla Baptist Church in Franklin.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Ruby Tallent of Marietta; daughters Teresa Tallent of Marietta and Debbie Marchman of Villa Rica, Georgia; nephews Ray Tallent of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Dewey Tallent of Franklin; 3 grand daughters; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family received friends on Friday, April 30, 2021, prior to the service at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
