Thomasville – Betty Jean Clinard Lance, 82, passed away at home on Thursday, March 18, 2021 after a long hard-fought battle with breast cancer.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Orville Franklin Clindard, Sr. and Ruth Mildred Atkins Clindard; and her husband Lyman F. Lance, Jr. She leaves many family members to carry on her memory.
Betty and Lyman Lance were instrumental in the restoration of the old Pine Grove School and have left their handprints on the communities of Macon County.
A private service will be held at a later date.
